Office Description
1.1The firm of Reisman – Keidar Law Offices was established in 1988, by the undersigned, Adv. Dan Reisman, in partnership with Adv. Michael Keidar, both of who have professional experience of more than 17 years in the field.
1.2The office currently employs a staff of 12 (6 of them lawyers).
Areas of Activity and Specialties
2.1Over the years, our firm has focused on various aspects of civil-commercial law, acquiring specialized knowledge in banking claims and realization and execution processes, receiverships in general and company receiverships and creditor compositions in particular, real estate transactions and bankruptcy laws. The firm also handles issues involving the planning and construction laws as well as general litigation.
2.2The firm represents the Ministry of Interior on the Jerusalem District Planning and Construction Committee, through Adv. Keidar who holds a personal appointment from the Attorney General.
2.3The firm also represents numerous and diverse private and corporate clients, with particular expertise in the areas of real estate, fuel and communications.
2.4The firm’s activity is organized around dedicated teams, each of which is assigned to deal primarily with one of the aforementioned areas and specialties, thus gaining expertise in that area while enhancing overall efficiency.
Financial Claims and Collection Processes:
3.1Our firm represents Israel Discount Bank Ltd. (Jerusalem and Southern District, encompassing activity on a large scale including 16 branches in Jerusalem as well as the bank’s legal department), Leumi Mortgage Bank Ltd. (Jerusalem District), Mercantile Discount Bank (Jerusalem District), and Bezeq – Israel’s Government Line Communication Company.
3.2Our firm is highly experienced in the area of financial claims and collection processes, including all the special aspects that characterize this area in both the legal and administrative spheres. Our activity embraces, among other things, all accepted asset and collateral realization and execution processes, including the holding of solvency investigations, imposition of attachments, location of assets and debtors, and collection.
3.3The work procedures in our firm are highly specialized and include the setup and management of a skilled team dealing exclusively with collection, wherein each and every stage in the handling of a debt is subject to supervision and control, from the sending of a warning letter through to the execution processes. This method of work enables us to handle and make progress in a large number of files simultaneously (our firm deals with many hundreds of files).
